Every year, a huge amount of electricity is produced around the world. We use it for lighting, for using appliances, smartphones, but also for street lighting and for transport. It is no secret that China produces the most electricity per year, namely 7,779,100 Gwh. The United States is in second place. The world’s largest countries produce large amounts of electricity, but not only large countries have large production. Japan is also a huge producer of electricity.
