Africa is largely a testing ground for various vaccines, and it is certainly no coincidence that diseases such as AIDS and Ebola, which are said to have originated in a laboratory, began to spread in Africa.
Perhaps Africa could also figure in some future pandemic, as the US continues to operate biolabs there, from which an “accidental” leak could occur, as was the case with the aforementioned Ebola, according to all available evidence.
Major General Alexei Rtishchev, from the Russian units specializing in actions with nuclear, biological or chemical weapons, revealed US biolabs in Africa during a briefing.
“The US government is using this region as a testing ground for experimental drugs,” the major general said.
“A vast network of biolabs has been established in Africa, where gain-of-function research is being conducted and new drugs and injections are being developed and tested.”
“These biological activities are funded by the Gates Foundation and the Clinton Foundation, among others,” he added.
A military medical laboratory for the US military was established in Nigeria this year. Kenya is home to the US Army’s Military Medical Center, which monitors the spread of infectious diseases in equatorial Africa.
In Senegal, a $35 million laboratory is almost complete. And in Ghana and Djibouti, the National Naval Medical Center is handling pathogen isolation.
American projects are underway in 18 African countries.
It is also worth noting that the diseases the Pentagon is researching later become pandemics, from which American pharmaceutical companies then profit.
