This is not a climate lockdown in the sense that the WEF described it a few years ago (closed 15-minute cities, no fossil fuel cars, permits only for work purposes), but many Canadians who are used to spending summers in nature see it that way.
And it could of course be a harbinger of real climate lockdowns, during which more and more areas would be closed until all you were left with was that designated 15-minute city.
On the other hand, the closure of the forests is proof that the fires so far had nothing to do with the climate, as the propaganda claimed, because – like in southern Europe – they were mostly arson.
So what does what many Canadians call a “climate lockdown” look like?
In the Canadian province of Nova Scotia, strict restrictions are in place in the forests. The measures, which are supposed to help prevent forest fires, will remain in force until October.
Hiking, camping, and fishing are prohibited in the forest. The trails are not open to the public.
“Camping is only permitted in designated campsites so you can safely enjoy the outdoors,” the Nova Scotia government says.
Sound familiar? The fine for violating these restrictions is steep: $25,000.

“I urge everyone to do the right thing: Don’t light a campfire, stay out of the woods, and protect our people and communities,” said Premier Tim Houston.
“Climate lockdowns are officially in effect,” notes journalist Dan Dicks of Press for Truth. Rebel News reporter Drea Humphrey calls it “climate tyranny.”

For a long time, Canadians were told that “climate change” was causing the fires, but now they are suddenly being told that most of the fires are caused by human activity.
Dicks points out that it is the government that is causing many of the fires, as the controlled fires it sets regularly get out of control.
