There are many ways to improve the way how people travel. What happens when you combine a plane and a train? Designer Dahir Insaat wanted to power a plane with enough electricity to carry up to 2000 passengers at speed of approx 310 mph. His solution was to attach the plane to a train rail that supplies electricity allowing the motors to accelerate at full power without the weight and restrictions of batteries.
The future of travel
The method of transportation is still a concept, but Insaat claims the system is already in development. Watch the following video, it’s a very daring idea that can be a precursor to future travel.
